Foot and Ankle – CPM – Continuous Passive Motion
Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) devices have been utilized extensively in the field of orthopedic surgery as a means of providing postoperative patients with passive (assisted) range of motion in the affected joint. Typically, CPM devices are designed to aid in early healing and prevention of postoperative joint stiffness by duplicating anatomically correct motion. The three motor axis design provides anatomically correct motion to the ankle and subtalar joint.
Features and benefits include:
program up to 10 individual therapy programs
Three modes of operation: ankle, subtalar, and combined ankle and subtalar
Performs reverse on load for patient safety
Lightweight and compact design accommodates bed or chair use
Fully adjustable range of motion through inversion/eversion and plantar flexion/dorsiflexion motions
Hand and Wrist – CPM – Continuous Passive Machine
Patented drive mechanism allows continuous motion that matches the natural physiological spiral of flexion
Lightweight and easily transportable
Variable speed control
Variable range of motion
Pivoting palm support for increased comfort
Numerous attachments allow wide variety of applications
Digital control pendant for simplified programming of PROM parameters
